Day-by-day
- Day 1: Airport → Negombo (approx. 30 minutes)
Our representative from Ceylon Adhi Tours will warmly welcome you at Colombo International Airport and transfer you to your hotel in Negombo. Relax after your long flight, with an optional beach walk or sunset experience. Overnight stay in Negombo.
- Day 2: Days 2–4: Negombo → Sigiriya (approx. 4 hours)
Visit the Dambulla Cave Temple (Golden Temple) and climb the famous Sigiriya Lion Rock. Enjoy sunrise at Pidurangala Rock and a village tour with a bullock cart ride, catamaran boat ride and authentic Sri Lankan lunch. Optional: Minneriya National Park jeep safari to see wild elephants, a visit to the ancient city of Polonnaruwa (UNESCO World Heritage Site) and a cycling tour around the ancient ruins. Overnight stays in Sigiriya.
- Day 5: Days 5–6: Sigiriya → Kandy (approx. 3 hours)
Visit a spice garden and a gem museum, then the Temple of the Tooth Relic (Sri Dalada Maligawa). Explore the Peradeniya Royal Botanical Garden and enjoy a traditional Kandy cultural dance show. Overnight stays in Kandy.
- Day 7: Days 7–8: Kandy → Nuwara Eliya (approx. 3 hours)
Visit Ramboda Waterfall, a tea plantation and tea factory with tea tasting, and Gregory Lake. Enjoy a Nuwara Eliya city tour and the Old Post Office. Overnight stays in Nuwara Eliya (cold weather — jackets recommended).
- Day 9: Days 9–10: Nuwara Eliya → Ella (approx. 3 hours)
Enjoy a scenic train journey (subject to ticket availability) and visit the Nine Arch Bridge. Hike Little Adam's Peak, visit Ravana Waterfall and relax taking in the beautiful mountain views. Overnight stays in Ella.
- Day 11: Days 11–13: Ella → Mirissa (approx. 4 hours)
Optional Yala National Park jeep safari on the way and an optional whale watching tour. Relax at Mirissa Beach, visit Coconut Tree Hill for sunset, and enjoy beach leisure and free time. Overnight stays in Mirissa.
- Day 14: Day 14: Mirissa → Hikkaduwa (approx. 3 hours)
Visit Galle Fort, then a Madu River boat safari through the mangroves and the Turtle Conservation Centre. Relax at Hikkaduwa Beach. Overnight stay in Hikkaduwa.
- Day 15: Day 15: Hikkaduwa → Airport (approx. 2.5 hours)
